National Benefit Builders, Inc. (NBBI) is a for-profit company, established in 1994, with the highest rating from the Better Business Bureau. NBBI developed an outreach program called America's Drug Card. The America's Drug Card program was established in response to the many requests that NBBI receives for assistance for the uninsured and underinsured with their prescription needs. Through our network of Reps, the America's Drug Card gives away free discount prescription cards to as many people who could benefit. Our Reps contact places such as social service agencies, government agencies, mental health clinics, hospitals, and doctors’ offices to see if they would like a supply of our discount prescription cards to distribute to the people that they serve. Our Reps also answer questions about how to use the cards, help people compare drug prices if there is no internet access available, and help people find the closest pharmacies. Also, America's Drug Card can assist larger organizations in fundraising using the prescription cards. America's Drug Card never charges for these outreach services.
The prescription cards are accepted at over 80% of pharmacies in the US and its territories. Savings average 15% on brand name medications, and 55% on generic medications. Anyone can use the card, regardless of age or income. They assist the uninsured the most, but can benefit people who are insured when they need a drug that is not reimbursable, such as fertility drugs. Seniors may also benefit when they fall into the Medicare Part D coverage gap.
